12 Foot Long Conference Room Print

Many Thanks to Artist Circle Fine Art (ARTCFA) for selling and installing this giant 12 foot long canvas print.  It's featured in the conference room of the Federation of American Hospitals' national headquarters in Washington, DC.

Quoting from ARTCFA's blog: "Artists Circle coordinated with our framer and one of our installers to have the canvas print stretched on-site.  After assessing the [very small] elevators and determining the stairs were just too tight to carry such a large piece up, we decided the only way to accomplish the Federation of American Hospital’s need for such a monumental piece would be to stretch it in their office.  The photo, taken from the rooftop of 101 Constitution Avenue, makes quite the statement upon walking into the SKB designed space."

I was blown away at how well the photo blew up...previously it had only been printed at 6 feet long...it looks absolutlely great...amazing that I shot the image so long ago in digital technology years (3), since now I shoot each section of my panoramas with a camera that has twice the resolution (25mp).

  1. Sam, I was just at FAH today for a conference - wow what a photo! Several times throughout the day I found myself staring at the picture! Amazing! The bad news is I missed some of the conference because I was so drawn into this picture! The good news is that I found your website thanks to the kittner.com printed in every so small letters in the bottom right hand corner. Congrats on a great picture. I can not wait to have this one in my own home - however after seeing this puppy in full 12 foot size - I am afraid the 3 - 6 foot selections offered for sale here may not do the picture justice.

    Keep up the great work!
    Andy
