Green Roof

I had the privilege of creating this image celebrating The American Society of Landscape Architects' (ASLA) beautiful and inspiring "Green Roof" atop their national headquarters in Washington, DC.  The hyper-resolution panoramic photograph is featured on a mammoth 14.5 ft. x 8 ft. street level window display at the ASLA Building (636 I Street NW).  Installed for ASLA's annual convention, the exhibit is slated to be up for over a year.  I also created an image for an interactive tour of the roof.  Check out how ASLA is working to increase awareness of the beauty, functionality, environmental and economic benefits of Green Roofs:  http://www.asla.org/greenroof

  1. Nice picture - the green roof concept on this one looks amazing. I hope that one day, I'll get to see almost everyone enjoying this new way of home gardening. You can actually get a lot of benefit from having green roofing: like clean, fresh air all throughout the day, an all-natural cooling system for your home, and attracting birds and butterflies to your home, making it more tranquil!
